TT Electronics opens Shenzhen design centre for IoT development
The new design centre will focus on engineering solutions for the IIoT and power. It will feature a laboratory for prototype development and a dedicated team to support OEM customers with their IoT solutions.
The Shenzhen facility will work closely with Kista to deliver new wireless M2M solutions, incorporating full product customisations as well as TT Electronics’ Platform design solution, which is intended to quicken time to market for customers.
China has set a goal of reaching 600 million NB-IoT connections in 2020, three years after the launch of the first commercial networks. It has also embarked on one of the world’s largest digital infrastructure projects that will result in billions of new connected devices in the coming years.
