The kit is able to connect, track, sense, and monitor applications like asset tracking, cold chain, smart home, and general industrial IoT use cases.
The S-2CONNECT Pro Tracking and Monitoring Kit uses hardware from TT Electronics’ S-2CONNECT family, including the S-2CONNECT Hub and S-2CONNECT Sense device, which integrates temperature, humidity, light, and acceleration sensors. The kit uses an embedded SIM that has three months of cellular connectivity, a data package of 25MB per month, and a power supply.
The Pro Kit has access to cloud-based services that are provided by TT Electronics. These services include a database, MQTT broker, microservices, and firmware hosting. Access to the UI for managing device configuration, provisioning, and monitoring comes through the S-2CONNECT Portal for the duration of the subscription.

S-2CONNECT Hub uses GNSS and LTE connectivity to offer real-time positioning data and transmission of that data over LTE Cat M1 or NB-IoT with 2G-fallback for global coverage. The Hub acts as the gateway for the S-2CONNECT Sense device.
S-2CONNECT Sense is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device that has been developed to record temperature, humidity, light, and impact data and then transfer it to the nearest S-2CONNECT Hub. The Sense has 256kB/8MB memory/flash and an ARM Cortex M4 processor.
Global cellular connectivity is provided in collaboration with Telenor Connexion. Cellular subscription can be extended as required through TT Electronics.
