Quicker development of low power location trackers
u-blox has launched a toolset that consists of the u-track software and the C030-R410M application board to enable quicker prototyping of wireless location tracking applications.

The toolset is intended to let product designers test and optimize the accuracy and power consumption of wireless location tracking applications on LTE-M and NB-IoT cellular networks, as well as Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology.

u-track software runs from embedded firmware on the u-blox C030-R410M application board. The board has a small, low power u-blox ZOE-M8B GNSS receiver and a SARA-R410M LTE-M/NB-IoT cellular communication module. The u-track software also includes a PC software application to allow users to log, retrieve, and visualize power consumption, accuracy, and other important values.

The u-track and C030-R410M toolset will be available to view from September 12-14 at Mobile World Congress Americas, booth no S.2702.
