oneM2M certification programme now available
The announcement follows an official MoU signing earlier this year with the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA). The new oneM2M certification will ease interoperability and standardisation for IoT applications where performance, reliability and security are critical.
oneM2M has over 200 partner members including global standards bodies and companies from the IT, telecoms and other sectors. The implementation of 5G and the growth of IoT connectivity mean that certification is required for the standardisation of converging technologies.
GCF’s collaboration with TTA has taken forward GCF’s processes for developing certification requirements and producing certification specifications. Today’s news is the culmination of this partnership, a global certification offering for anyone involved in the development of M2M and IoT.
