Mouser has penned a global distribution agreement with CML Microcircuits, a leading manufacturer of semiconductors for telecommunications.

CML Microcircuits offers a comprehensive portfolio of devices include RF transceivers, analogue front ends, baseband processing and application-specific microcontrollers.

For example, CML Microcircuits’ CMX901 and CMX902 three-stage wideband, high-gain, and high-efficiency RF power amplifier ICs feature a power gain up to 40 dB and up to 60 per cent power efficiency. The devices are intended for VHF and low UHF radio applications and wireless-based IIOT systems.

Mouser will also stock four series of CML receiver chips, including the CMX994 direct conversion receiver. CMX994 receiver ICs have PowerTrade integrated to allow dynamic selection between power consumption and performance modes. The CMX994A and CMX994E models feature extended operation of 50 MHz to 1218 MHz, while the CMX994G offers guaranteed down-converter performance to 30 MHz.

CML Microcircuits’ CMX7164 multi-mode wireless data modem supports multiple modulation schemes and coding systems, that are configurable under host control with no external codecs or DSP processing required. Adaptive Coded Modulation (ACM) features allow modulation type and block format to be changed on the fly to dynamically select the data block size, coding rate and CRC size.

The SCT2400 is a highly integrated digital radio transceiver based on spread spectrum modulation operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM frequency range. The transceiver can operate over line of sight distances of up to 12 km with up to 100 mW of output power and can maintain link clarity and security in low-power radio systems. The device’s low power consumption and security features make it ideal for portable, mobile, and wearable products.
