Mini-ITX motherboard boosts performance with Intel Atom® x6000E
Small form factor motherboard offers significant improvements in CPU performance and doubles graphics capabilities compared to previous generation.

Advantech has released the AIMB-218, a low-profile fanless industrial-grade Mini-ITX motherboard featuring Intel Atom® x6000E, Intel® Pentium®, and Celeron® N and J Series processors.

Based on low-power 10nm technology (6 to 12 W TDP), AIMB-218 supports up to 4 cores with 3.0 GHz turbo frequency and up to 850 MHz of Gen 11 Graphics, increasing the performance of the CPU up to 50 percent and doubling its graphics processing capabilities, compared to the previous ATOM generation. AIMB-218 is designed for industrial edge computing applications which require high-resolution graphics and low power consumption, including retail displays, smart kiosks, digital signage, smart manufacturing, medical devices and smart cities. Additionally, its wide operating temperature (-20 to 70 °C) makes it a perfect fit for semi-outdoor industrial environments.

The AIMB-218 delivers superior graphics capabilities via Intel® UHD Graphics up to 32EUs. AIMB-218 supports rich display interfaces, including DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, LVDS and eDP –delivering 4K resolution progressive scan at 60 fps on 3x displays. Additionally, AIMB-218 features an improved memory capacity via DDR4 3200MHz up to 32GB with IBECC. The Mini-ITX motherboard achieves low latency for high-resolution video content in embedded display control applications by using its next-gen. graphics, high-speed memory, storage, and data transfer rate capabilities.
