Designed to bring a new level of integration and IoT to home automation enthusiasts, the platform, says the company, makes it easy for electronics hobbyists to make and manage their very own IoT networks.

Makers, says the company, can create custom apps and firmware without coding through a simple graphic UI and control any wireless device through a central server within the Quantum IoT Platform. The platform hardware itself consists of the Q-Server central core and Q-Client Builder Base.
The Q-Server runs locally and discovers Q-Clients automatically, connecting Bluetooth and Wi-Fi-enabled devices through a self-discovery network and enabling users to control their IoT projects from phones or tablets. It features built-in support for dozens of components for users' Q-Clients.
Designed as an easy way for electronics enthusiasts to build custom IoT devices, the Q-Client Builder Base enables users to mix and match devices with many custom combinations, and to add virtually any sensor or device to the network. It features seven GPIO, I2C screw terminals and enables users to learn basic electronics with easy-to-use software.
Multiple wireless Builder Bases can be integrated to create sophisticated projects. The Builder Base supports many advanced temperature sensors, I/O expanders, and IMUs, and can be used to control servos, DC motors, stepper motors, LEDs, smart LEDs, LCD screens and more.
