€10 IoT flat rate connectivity service for telematics
1NCE will now provide its €10 flat rate service to telematics providers, allowing them to provide connectivity solutions for over 100 countries.

The €10 rate is for each connected device and it is a one-off, up-front connectivity fee for life.

The 1NCE service uses 2G, 3G, 4G and NB-IoT networks for connectivity. The service is provided by Tier One carriers like Deutsche Telekom, its roaming partners and China Telecom Global.

The IoT Flat Rate service allows telematics service companies to cut the overall cost of their product. The service eliminates the management of tariffs, administration of recurring payments for subscriptions and the management of services from individual network providers in different countries.

The 1NCE service only needs a single up-front payment of €10 per connected device for global connectivity with no roaming or other additional charges. The service allows telematics device manufacturers can price and configure their service to customers globally with total confidence. The 1NCE IoT Flat Rate service costs €10 and is guaranteed for 10 years. The service consists of 500MB data and 250 SMS messages. Data can be added to at any time for an additional €10.

1NCE uses advanced cloud technology to make commissioning of a SIM, centralized connected device control, and network configuration quick and easy. An API allows 1NCE's SIM card management functions to be integrated into applications. The 1NCE IoT Connectivity Suite is also included in the price. It provides integration with AWS cloud service for easier management of telematics devices.

Arne Assmann, Head of Strategy and Development at 1NCE, said: "Fleet managers are looking for predictable pricing and reliable service from providers of telematics services such as asset tracking and consignment data logging. The IoT Flat Rate service from 1NCE provides the surest way to achieve reliability and predictability when connecting telematics black boxes. It gives gold-standard connectivity thanks to the coverage provided by Tier One companies such as Deutsche Telekom, and the one-time €10 fee gives telematics companies certainty about the cost of connectivity for the device's lifetime."
