Toshiba Memory Europe has launched its second-generation of NAND flash memory products which offer increased performance and capacity.

The new Serial Interface NAND devices are compatible with SPI, which allows them to be utilised as SLC NAND flash memory with a low pin count, small package and large capacity.

The new NAND products have a 133 MHz operating frequency and program x4 mode. An 8 gigabit (1 gigabyte) product has also been added to the line-up to provide larger memory capacity. The entire line-up is offered in an 8-pin WSON measuring only 6 x 8 mm.
