2.4 GHz fully-integrated RF front-end module supports multiple protocols
The company claims that the device offers the highest efficiency and longest range solution available today, with a range that is four times that of a stand-alone SoC and a receive sensitivity improvement of 7 db over the SoC. The SKY66114-11 comes in a 16-pin, 2.4 x 2.4 x 0.8mm package that includes a high-gain, low-noise amplifier, transmit bypass path and digital controls. It has a fast switch on/off time (<800 nsec) to enable rapid timing and multiprotocol arbitration.Operating over a wide input voltage range (1.7 to 3.6 V), the device is suitable for a wide range of applications.
