2020 Open Compute Project summit goes virtual

The Open Compute Project Foundation (OCP) has announced that it will reschedule the 2020 OCP Global Summit as a virtual event on the week of May 11th.
The Open Compute Project Foundation (OCP) has announced that it will reschedule the 2020 OCP Global Summit as a virtual event on the week of May 11th.

The foundation has taken the decision with the global health crisis surrounding COVID-19 becoming a growing threat and the travel restrictions that have been put in place to counter that threat.The virtual summit will ensure attendees, exhibitors and sponsors take advantage of the Summit with no health risk.

The OCP Virtual Global Summit will inlcude keynote sessions, executive tracks, an Expo Hall with Expo Hall talks, Engineering Workshops, the OCP Experience Center and the OCP Future Technologies Symposium. The new format will allow the summit to reach a larger audience, with increased functionality for Q&A, panel discussions, live chat and one-on-one connections.
