Two operating modes are available, the “Fast” mode detects fast-moving objects with sampling rates as high as 130 frames per second, while the “Close-range” is specific for improved minimum range, with measurements starting from just 10 centimetres away. The unit based on eye-safe infrared LED technology weighs as little as 12 grams. It operates in low light or dark conditions without the need for external illumination. The device operates from a 5V DC supply and draws from 80mA to 250mA. It comes with the USB 2.0 Micro-B and a UART interfaces.
