The selected submissions will have the chance to win an 18-piece journeyman tool set, a six-piece trim-out tool kit and a $100 shopping cart to use on the Farnell element14 site.

The project14 competitions run on a monthly basis and are open to entrants of all skill levels. Community members vote in an open poll to select a new theme each month.

Any entrants who submit an idea centred on the BBC micro:bit will receive a free device to help them to develop their project.
