The MXE-210 is intended to bridge the space between industrial technology and IT technology. It is flexible, supporting many standards including Modbus, EtherCAT, DDS, MQTT, and CANOpen, as well as Wi-Fi, BT, LoRa, 3G, and 4G LTE for data communications. When used as a controller, the MXE-210 can use the same protocols to control industrial devices. The device is rugged and conforms to EMI/EMS EN 61000-6- 4/2 and EN 50155 EMC standards. MXE-210 uses a single e-SIM card that can automatically switch between providers in different regions, making it ideal for transport applications.
Security is hugely important for industrial installations, and the MXE-210 device supports a wide range of measures including TPM 2.0, Intel Boot Guard and UEFI secured boot. The device is expandable through a DisplayPort, two USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, two GbE ports, two COM ports(RS232/422/485), two mPCIe slots, one USIM slot, one mSATA, one SATA-III and one Micro SD slot.
