The site is currently the company’s dedicated R&D center. In future, SiPearl GmbH will also act as the regional hub to provide support for connected mobility and high-performance computing applications. Frank Gorris, previously head of digital design for several 3G to 5G SoC solutions for Intel, will be in charge if the new hub. He is expected to take up the position in June. He will be supported by a team of highly experienced engineers.
