The combination of products provides a dual remote management solution for IoT devices. The growth in popularity for IoT devices creates the problem of how to effectively manage and monitor large numbers of connected devices. These devices could be in a widely spread area and be difficult to access. To provide a solution to this challenge, Innodisk has worked with embedded technology specialists, DFI, to provide DFI’s RemoGuard remote management system to its customers.

DFI is just one of Innodisk’s network of partners that use Innodisk technology to create a full storage solution. The combination of Innodisk’s iCAP and InnoAGE dual-band management technologies with DFI’s RemoGuard hardware design is intended to cut maintenance staffing costs and response times and prevent service downtime. These benefits are due to features such as real-time monitoring and one-button recovery.

“Created in collaboration with Innodisk, a leader in the industrial Solid-state drive (SSD) market, DFI has launched RemoGuard to provide not only high-performance embedded solutions but also an advanced remote management solution. This add-on service helps customers to get through this difficult period and lets us look into a prospective future of cooperation,” said Steven Tsai, President of DFI.

iCAP Innodisk’s cloud management platform, iCAP, has been developed to provide easy access to monitor and control local and remote devices. The management product detects and collects data, sends reports and alerts operators if the device crashes or experiences other problems.

InnoAGE SSDs offer a combination of speed, low power consumption, small size, and low maintenance. This combination allows the solid-state drives to be used in almost any application. InnoAGE SSD is an out-of-band management-enabled flash storage solution that is equipped with a Microsoft Azure Sphere. InnoAGE allows multifunctional management, smart data analysis and firmware updates, data security, and remote control through the cloud.
