PAN1326C2 is based on Texas Instruments’ CC2564C dual-mode Bluetooth controller which can support up to ten BLE connections simultaneously due to independent buffering for LE without affecting the BR or EDR performance.

The module offers approximately double the range of other BLE solutions with an output power of +12dBm and receiver sensitivity of -93dBm. The BT4.2-compliant module has the latest BLE features including enhanced security, higher data rates and an assisted mode for the HFP1.6 Wideband Speech (WBS) profile or the A2DP profile.

PAN1326C2 facilitates scatternet, with the ability to join up to three piconets at the same time, one as master and two as slave. Up to two Synchronous Connection Oriented (SCO) links are can be achieved on the same piconet. The module provides low power consumption in all Bluetooth modes through energy-saving features like shutdown mode and sleep mode where it needs only 135μA.

The 85.5mm² (9×9.5x8mm) footprint, 1.3mm pad pitch and two module layers provide easy implementation and production. The PAN1326C2 is pin-compatible with all CC256x-based Panasonic modules and has GPIO, PCM and UART standard interfaces and is CE, FCC and IC certified.
