Mobile video controller for eight PoE cameras

By eeNews Europe

The fanless controller comes in a rugged industrial casing. The Nuvo-5608VR is designed for recording and evaluating as well as real time video signal streaming. Based on a 6th generation Intel processor, the controller allows processors from i3 to i7 to be added. Two bays for internal 3.5”-HDD hard drives with RAID-0/1 support provide a memory capacity of up to 24 TB.

The eight GbE ports provide both high bandwidth and a power supply for the connected cameras. The PoE function can be deactivated individually for each port. Eight USB interfaces, four of which are USB 3.0 allow easy connection of peripherals. Four different mini PCIe slots with internal SIM sockets can be used for individual functional extensions. Further interfaces include two RS-232/422/485 ports and 1 x RS-232, four insulated digital inputs and outputs and a CAN bus port. Audio and graphics connections include a single stacked VGA + DVI-D and two DisplayPorts with 4K2K resolution.

The supply voltage for the Acceed Nuvo-5608VR can be within the range of 8 to 35 VDC to allow the device to operate comfortably from a stationary installation and or from vehicles.
