Industrial computer family gets wireless and energy options

The MICA 2 has a dual-core processor, 4GB RAM and 16GB eMMC that offer 3-5 times the computing power of the MICA Basic. The MICA Wireless combines MICA 2’s computing power with integrated interfaces for GSM, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
MICA Energy allows data from electric meters and current transformers to be read, compressed and routed to MES and ERP systems. The device integrates the InfluxDB time OpenSource database and the Grafana dashboard software, allowing analysis and visualisationto be performed directly on the MICA. The integrated software allows browser-based solutions to be created and the solutions featuring qt to be developed .
HARTING has also announced MICA kits that allow customers to equip and assemble them using their own function boards.
