The new products include five new language variants for the Raspberry Pi keyboard, a 10.1” touchscreen from Multicomp Pro and a new family of Pimoroni HATs (hardware-attached tops).

The Raspberry Pi ergonomic keyboard works with all Raspberry Pi SBCs and now has five new language variants: Portuguese, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Japanese. This adds to the previously available English (both UK and USA layouts), German, French, Spanish, and Italian variants. The keyboards come in red and white or black and grey colour schemes. They offer automatic keyboard language detection and three USB 2.0 type A ports. A USB type A to micro USB type B cable is included for connection to compatible computer.

Multicomp Pro’s new pre-assembled 10.1” HDMI touchscreen display provides a simple display solution for a variety of applications. The touchscreen supports pinch, zoom and rotate functions. The Raspberry Pi can be easily mounted onto the rear of the interface PCB using the supplied pillars and screws.

UK manufacturer Pimoroni’s range of add-on Pimoroni HATs, added by Farnell, provide greater functionality to Raspberry Pi projects.

The Unicorn HAT Mini is a 17×7 matrix of RGB LEDs. It has been developed to provide control of colour and brightness to display animations, text and simple images. The board has four tactile buttons to control the colour or brightness of the LEDs. The buttons can also be used as inputs for simple games or control projects.

The Automation HAT MINI is intended for home automation projects. It can monitor and control 24V systems and display statuses on its 0.96″ full-colour IPS LCD display. The board features a relay, three buffered inputs, three analogue inputs and three outputs.

Scroll HAT Mini has 119 LEDs that can be programmed for scrolling text. It has individual PWM brightness control over each pixel. On-board buttons may be used for menu or playback control, or to control simple games. A pre-soldered header simplifies integration into projects.

The Enviro HAT and Enviro HAT+Air Quality were developed for environmental monitoring applications. It can measure air quality (pollutant gases and particulates when combined with a particulate matter sensor), temperature, pressure, humidity, light, and noise level.
