The Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera is intended to capture still images and video footage. It is compatible with all Raspberry Pi models from the Raspberry Pi 1 Model B onwards. The camera can be used for machine vision, robotics, industrial, agriculture, home and professional security applications. It is programmable for data collection for facial and number plate recognition and parking space monitoring.

The camera and its interchangeable lens combinations can easily be integrated into monitoring and quality control systems. The ultra-definition camera extracts more information from the lens to create higher quality, content rich images than the existing Raspberry Pi Camera Module v2.
