RIGOL Technologies has added to the company’s spectrum analyzer offering by releasing higher-performance RSA5000 real-time series to complement the entry-level DSA800-TG family.

RSA50xx-TG real-time spectrum analyzers are fully featured, cost-effective solutions for demanding tasks with fully digital IF technology for measurements from 9 kHz to 3.2 GHz and 6.5 GHz respectively.

The analyzers have a 10.1" capacitive multi-touch display with 800 x 480 resolution and are based on a completely new Ultra-Real technology, which adds performance and accuracy to measurements and allows real-time measurements. The device can also be used as a scalar network analyzer due to a 3.2 / 6.5 GHz tracking generator.

The series is built in a modular design, and is ideal for four different functions, three which are currently available – a real-time spectrum analyzer with a bandwidth up to 40 MHz, a general-purpose spectrum analyzer, an EMI pre-compliance tester to CISPR specifications and a vector signal analyzer, which is planned for the second quarter of this year.
