The card I/O bracket is covered by a metallic hood at the SA4-Country front panel. The carrier is equipped with backplane connectors to support up to eight PCI Express lanes when inserted into a CompactPCI Serial fat pipe slot. For optimum signal integrity, PCI Express Gen3 redrivers are provided on-board. The SA4-Country is useful for system integration such as rapid prototyping and special function applications.
