Ethernet-enabled serial interface modules aid automotive ECU development
ATI has implemented Ethernet connectivity that is as easy to use as USB, making the unit truly, ‘plug and play’. A8 Serial Interface modules support ECU high-speed data acquisition, calibration and flashing in a single OCDS, Nexus, or DAP2 debug interface. The A8 can work with almost any microcontroller with a standard real-time debug interface and gives the user high-speed access to their ECU’s data.

With Ethernet capability, the ATI A8 high speed Serial Interface modules will also support ASAM’s XCP communication protocol. XCP support, available for both USB and Ethernet, enables the use of ATI’s A8 Serial Interfaces with commonly found third party software tools. Engineers can benefit from the A8 Serial Interface features regardless of software tool selection, or seamlessly accommodate time stamps and data synchronization by using ATI’s recommended VISION calibration and data acquisition software.
The A8 is a part of Accurate Technologies’ portfolio of MCD hardware including ECU interfaces, memory emulators and CAN interfaces, and supports popular microcontrollers from companies such as NXP, Infineon and Renesas.
