The boards are intended to help developers evaluate Cypress’ Bluetooth Wireless Internet Connectivity for Embedded Devices (WICED) modules and start designing Bluetooth Smart and Bluetooth Smart Ready devices. The two evaluation boards can be used as stand-alone kits or use Arduino-compatible shields for expansion options.
The EZ-BT WICED dual-mode module evaluation board is based on Cypress’ CYBT-34026-01 EZ-BT WICED module, which has 512 Kbytes of flash, 352 Kbytes of SRAM, a 16-bit delta-sigma ADC, four PWMs, and a maximum transmit power of +9 dBm for Bluetooth Smart and +12 dBm for Bluetooth Smart Ready applications.
The EZ-BLE WICED module evaluation board is based on the CYBLE-013025-00 WICED module, which is intended for low-cost designs that need simple Bluetooth connectivity. The CYBLE-013025-00 module features 128 Kbytes of flash, 60 Kbytes of SRAM, a 16-bit delta-sigma ADC, four PWMs, and a maximum transmit power of +4 dBm.
